# How to Make It:

- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a mini muffin tin with paper liners or lightly grease each cup.
- Using a mixer, cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until mixture is light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract; blend until fully incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt to ensure even distribution.
- Add half of the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture, followed by the milk, then the remaining dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined to avoid overmixing.
- Divide the batter evenly into the prepared mini muffin cups, filling each approximately two-thirds full.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Remove from oven and cool completely on a wire rack.
- Beat the softened butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing thoroughly. Add milk and vanilla extract and continue beating until light and fluffy.
- Divide frosting into separate bowls and tint with gel food coloring as desired, creating black for clock faces and gold or yellow accents.
- Once the cakes have cooled, apply a smooth layer of the colored buttercream to each mini cake.
- Use decorating gel, mini chocolate chips, or colored frosting to draw clock faces, numbers, and clock hands indicating midnight. Garnish with edible pearls and optional sprinkles.
- Arrange decorated mini desserts on a platter and present for serving.
