# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It takes ten minutes from start to sip, no stove required.
  • The mint and lime wake up your mouth without any fake flavors or syrup overload.
  • You can dial the sweetness up or down and even make it bubbly if you are feeling fancy.
02 -
  • Do not skip the straining step or you will end up with chewy mint bits stuck in your teeth.
  • Blending the mint with water instead of muddling it pulls out more flavor without bruising the leaves into bitterness.
  • If you let this sit too long the lime starts to taste flat, so make it close to serving time.
03 -
  • Chill your pitcher and glasses in the freezer for ten minutes before serving so the drink stays cold longer.
  • If your blender struggles with the mint, add the water first and then drop the leaves in while it is running.
  • Taste the lime juice before you blend it, because if it is too sour you can cut it with a little extra water instead of dumping in more sugar.
