One-Pot Sausage Rice Skillet

Featured in: One-Pan Comforts

This one-pot skillet blends smoky sausage, tender long-grain rice, and colorful bell peppers with fragrant spices for a warm and satisfying meal. Sauteing the onion, peppers, and garlic releases deep aromas which enhance the dish’s flavor profile. As the rice simmers gently in broth, it absorbs the smoky paprika and thyme for depth. Adding peas near the end preserves their brightness and texture. The dish is finished with a sprinkle of fresh parsley to balance the richness with herbaceous notes. Perfect for an easy, wholesome dinner with quick cleanup.
